Anshu Anshika Singh

Anshu Anshika Singh, a 19-year-old second-year Journalism and Mass Communication student at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, is a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion. He joined the fellowship in 2019 and, through a democratic process where fellows elected their leaders, became Convenor of the Uttar Pradesh Youth Equity Forum in 2021. In May 2025, he was re-elected as the Co-Convenor. The fellowship has been a life-changing journey for Anshu — it not only honed his leadership skills but also empowered him to embrace his identity as a transman and lead with confidence. He aspires to become a gender trainer while pursuing his passion for content writing and storytelling, using his voice to champion youth-led change and create safe, inclusive spaces for all.
