A first-generation graduate from a Dalit family, Ram Naresh Chaudhary’s journey reflects resilience and purpose. He joined the UPYEF Social Inclusion Fellowship in 2019, was elected as Co-Convenor in 2021, and in May 2025, the 4th batch of fellows re-elected him as Convenor through a democratic process.
Ram acknowledges that the fellowship has been a life-transforming experience — empowering him with knowledge, deep connections to ground realities, and a stronger bond with communities through multiple exposures and capacity-building sessions.
